We are a small private practice in the Regency Park area of Cary, North Carolina. We provide a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment. Our dedication and focus on quality of care is what makes a big difference in the services we provide.
 
Dr. Tammie Moore, a licensed psychologist and NC Board Certified Health Services Provider, is the practice founder and president. For over 10 years, she has provided counseling and psychological services in the Triangle area. She uses cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches that emphasize the mind-body connection. She helps clients to clarify their feelings, develop goals, and create a plan of action to achieve those goals.
As the most experienced bariatric mental health professional in the area, she created "BARIATRIC COUNSELING SERVICES" to provide pre- and post-operative counseling services to weight loss surgery patients. Dr. Moore earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago and completed her psychology internship at Duke University. For the past 10 years, she served as a Clinical Faculty member in the School of Education at the Univresity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Clinton S. Bolton III, M.Ed. is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor.
Clinton completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Education from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his Masters Degree in Counseling. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC.
Clinton has experience working with a diverse array of clients. Specializing in a cognitive-behavioral approaches to counseling, he works with adults, children, and couples dealing with a variety of issues and stressors. Moreover, he has worked extensively with providing pre- and post-operative counseling services to bariatric patients. He leads weekly cognitive-behavioral group counseling sesssions designed specifically to address the individual needs of LAP-BAND and Gastric Bypass patients. He also created a 3-6 week protocol for bariatric patients seeking a "revision" procedure after regaining a significant amount of weight. Clinton has conducted a vast amount of research studies in counseling, psychotherapy, stress management, and weight loss making him a well-rounded counselor.
